Build your own nest
We were also very impressed by the skill of the weaver bird. They build their nests by weaving blades of grass together. Check out this video of the weaver bird in action!
Today we really enjoyed reading our expository text about amazing bird nests. We learned that nests can be all different shapes and sizes. We were surprised to learn that an eagle's nest can be 10 ft. across and 20 ft. deep! We also learned that nests can be made out of a variety of unusual materials and in many strange places. i really liked amazing bird nests because of 3 top things and etc. 1. The American Bald Eagle Nest is 10 ft. across and 20 ft. deep OH MY GOSH! 2. BIRDS TAKE ABOUT 500 TRIPS TO BUILD A NEST 3. CITY BIRDS CAN USE MONEY, SNAKESKIN, AND THUMBTACKS. And those are my top 3 reasons i love that book and etc- other things

3 top reasons that i like the book : Amazing bird nests. 1. An American Bald Eagles Nest can be 10 ft. across and 20 ft. deep OH MY GOSH! 2. BIRDS TAKE ABOUT 500 TRIPS TO BUILD A NEST. 3. City Birds Use Snakeskin, thumbtacks, and even money.
