Today we really enjoyed reading our expository text about amazing bird nests. We learned that nests can be all different shapes and sizes. We were surprised to learn that an eagle's nest can be 10 ft. across and 20 ft. deep! We also learned that nests can be made out of a variety of unusual materials and in many strange places.
